NOTE: The above is the first portion of the Sermon on the Mount based on the Numeric Greek and English New Testament as discovered and set forth from the hand of God by Ivan Panin. Numerics is God's signature to ensure the integrity of His Word, and to guarantee that Textual Criticism of the Higher Critics will be unable to tamper with it.

Note that God through Numerics even establishes the sentence structure, sub-divisions, paragraphs and chapter equivalents. When I discovered this in 1945 by reading the Introduction to Panin’s Numeric Greek New Testament, I was hooked. I have put in some 60 years of research and work to come up with the above format for the Numeric Interlinear Greek New Testament. And even at that, I have had valuable suggestions in perfecting the above format. One of the later suggestions was that the Greek text appear in regular print, but the interlinear English text appear in Black for contrast. Also that Strong’s numbers for significant Greek words follow these words rather than appear above.

A further departure from regular Interlinear Greek New Testaments – is that the English text is not treated so as to appear word by word under each Greek word. Also the text is centered in shorter clauses, so that it is easier to grasp a complete thought. Then too the Greek text is transliterated according to the “Berlitz” method of learning languages. This means that those not acquainted with the Greek alphabet, can yet read the Greek text with quite close correct pronunciation, with the help of the accented syllable in capitals.

These are fairly drastic changes from the normal Interlinear Greek New Testament – but our wish is that laymen may make more use of the wonders of the Greek text! Scholars will find it quite simple to take the transliteration back to the Greek text.

I have a helper seeking to transfer this text in the same format into an archive set-up. This will allow readers to download the text as it is received as a mailing.

I started working on the manuscript in the early ‘60’s, when I took my wife Marie to the games of the Seattle Pilots. Remember them? I became so engrossed in this project, that I missed seeing Pitcher Broadbender hit a “grand slam!”

Also – a special word of thanks to those who have sent gifts for computer expenses on this project, Technical Helpers and other miscellaneous expenses. These have been a marvelous help, especially now that Marie and I retired as of August 2007. But this also enables me to have more time for this Project and Assignment.

Sometime in the early 60’s God awakened me early one morning with these words, “Get My New Testament done! I flew out of bed and have spent 1000’s of hours on this project since.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses offered to make a Greek Interlinear New Testament for Panin on the basis of their “Emphatic Diaglott.” But Panin had to reluctantly turn down this offer because of the “cultic” association. So he died in 1942 in Aldershot Ontario, with his hope and dream unrealized. I believe it is God’s desire that the 50 years and 100,000 hours of labor Panin put into this should be realized as the return of Jesus as Lord and King draws nigh. As you will note, I have departed from Panin’s English text of 1910 by making only minor changes such as substituting “thee’s and thou’s” with ”you’s and your’s>

Bless you again for your forbearance, interest and prayers in this most unusual project and assignment. J.A.W.
